Staff Specialist (psychiatry)

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Staff Specialist (Psychiatry) to join a renowned team providing child and adolescent psychiatry services. This role will focus on supporting the Queensland Children's Gender Service (QCGS) and the broader network of gender services across Queensland.

Key Responsibilties

• Provide specialist child and adolescent psychiatry services to the QCGS.
• Lead and support the implementation of the Service Evaluation recommendations.
• Work collaboratively within the broader networked model of gender services across Queensland.
• Engage with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient and family-centred care.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate will have:

• Specialist registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Fellowship with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) or equivalent.
