The Position

Are you a dedicated and passionate Psychiatry Medical Practitioner seeking a rewarding opportunity to make a significant impact in the healthcare field?

We are currently seeking qualified individuals to fill multiple Psychiatry Medical Practitioner positions on a fixed-term basis. Whether you're looking for part-time or full-time work, we encourage you to apply.

The successful applicant/s will work in appointments to Senior Medical Practitioners, Health Service Medical Practitioners & District Medical Officers Non-Procedural and possess significant psychiatry experience to fill numerous positions across WACHS. In these roles, you will work in a diverse environment and be a part of the senior multi-disciplinary team. Reporting to the Clinical Director and Regional Mental Health Manager, the successful applicant/s will provide services to the whole region as required. Working within these roles, you will provide services within all relevant legislative and policy frameworks to provide psychiatric medical assessments and treatments. Working with in-patients as required, providing relevant advice to referrers and participating in the psychiatric on call roster, the successful applicant will also be required to supervise other medical staff as required.
