Consultant Psychiatrist - Older Persons Mental Health

THE POSITION

As a Consultant Psychiatrist specialising in Older Adult services, you will work with a dedicated and friendly team to ensure comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and management of mental health problems for patients. You will provide leadership, orientation, training, and supervision for doctors in training and other health workers, while participating in shared on-call, after-hours, and weekend rosters. This role offers continuous professional development and education opportunities.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

Successful candidates will be required to meet the following criteria:

• Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZAP)
• Registered medical practitioner with specialist AHPRA registration
• Australian Working Rights
