Consultant Psychiatrist - Older Adult Mental Health

THE POSITION

As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for the psychiatric and medical assessment and treatment of patients. You will provide clinical leadership, coordination, and direction to a multi-disciplinary team delivering evidence-based best practice treatment within a recovery-oriented model. This role involves working within the Older Adult Program (OAP) which provides a range of mental health services to the elderly, including inpatient, community, and therapy services, across multiple locations. This is a Recruitment Pool for various appointment types, including Permanent Full Time, Permanent Part Time, Fixed Term Full Time, Fixed Term Part Time, Casual, and Sessional, with the possibility of extension(s).

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

Successful candidates will be required to meet the following criteria:

• Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZAP)
• Registered medical practitioner with specialist AHPRA registration
• Australian Working Rights
