About Jessica
Growing up in Newcastle, NSW, Australia, Jessica quickly found her calling in the healthcare sector – more specifically, recruitment. She got her foot in the staffing door as a compliance consultant, responsible for strength and background compliance, along with administration. Now, for over a decade, Jessica – more colloquially named Jess around these parts – has dedicated her life and career to the medical industry. Leveraging her in-depth market knowledge at both a junior and senior level – accompanied by her key alliances with clients all across Australasia – Jess is passionate about supporting medical doctors across all specialties in growing careers they can be proud of. She has built up an impressive track-record for fostering strong candidate relationships with doctors who – once they’ve encountered Jess – refuse to work with anyone else. Jess’s 360° role sees her wear multiple hats every single day, juggling the likes of compliance management, candidate sourcing, as well as client and business development. Jess builds and establishes start-up specialist doctor desks, particularly experienced in the mental health arena. Her strength and resilience are well-known by everyone around her and she even managed to sustain business while on maternity leave.When she’s not working, Jess can be found exercising in the form of chasing her children around the house – or practicing Pilates. When she catches them, they’ll normally head off for a day at the beach. If you can’t find Jess, you can bet she has her head buried in a new book somewhere.
