THE POSITION

We are offering unique career opportunities within accredited Mental Health Services, providing care across two key locations. We are currently seeking enthusiastic Consultant Psychiatrists to join our dynamic team, with a focus on specialties such as:

  • Women's Mental Health (including perinatal and post-partum services)
  • Eating Disorder Services
  • Neurodiversity
  • Alcohol and Other Drug Services
  • Behavioural Addictions

This role will involve working across established and new facilities that provide comprehensive mental health care, including inpatient services, outpatient clinics, and day hospitals.

ABOUT THE ESTABLISHMENT

The facilities include a tertiary teaching hospital that offers state-of-the-art mental health and addiction services, and another purpose-built mental health facility with 75 beds, women-only wards, and a unit dedicated to managing behavioural addictions, such as gaming and social media.

Both locations provide exciting leadership opportunities in collaboration with addiction specialists, psychiatrists, and senior medical professionals.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Specialist registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Fellowship with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) or equivalent.
